The Call to Ministry
Pastor Elder Terence Oliver answered the call to ministry at his uncle's church, Golden Gate, in New Albany, Mississippi. It was there that his journey in service to the church truly began, shaped by years of faithfulness in whatever role was needed.
Faithful in the Small Things
Long before stepping into the pulpit as Pastor, Terence Oliver served Golden Gate Church in nearly every capacity imaginable. He served with YPWW, taught Sunday school, and went on to serve as Sunday School Superintendent. He led as Choir President, and even tended the church grounds as caretaker.
That spirit of humble, willing service became the foundation for the ministry he would go on to lead.
Preparing for the Work
Pastor Oliver furthered his ministry training at Mississippi Northern Bible School, where he earned a certificate of completion in Bible study and received his Elder License — equipping him for the pastoral calling ahead.
Leading Miracle Temple
On July 18, 2021, Terence Oliver was appointed Pastor of Miracle Temple in Byhalia, Mississippi, where he continues to lead the congregation in faith, love, and purpose to this day.
Family
Pastor Oliver has been married to First Lady Marieta Oliver since March 24, 1990. Together they have three daughters: Megan, Marissa, and Monique Oliver.
